Article 1 — Purpose

These Terms of Use (hereinafter "Terms") govern the use of the Bane platform, accessible at banenounou.com, published in Gabon. Bane is a matchmaking platform between parents seeking childcare services and nannies (childminders) offering their services.

Registration and use of the platform imply full acceptance of these Terms.

Article 2 — Registration and Account

• Registration is open to any adult residing in Gabon.
• The user agrees to provide accurate and up-to-date information upon registration.
• Each user is responsible for the confidentiality of their login credentials.
• Bane reserves the right to suspend or delete any account in the event of a violation of these Terms.

Article 3 — Services Offered

Bane allows parents to:

• Search and view nanny profiles
• Publish childcare request ads
• Contact nannies via the integrated messaging system
• Leave reviews and ratings

Bane allows nannies to:

• Create a detailed professional profile
• Apply to and answer ads published by parents
• Communicate with families via messaging

Article 4 — Role of Bane

Bane acts solely as a technical intermediary. The platform connects parents and nannies but does not intervene in agreements concluded between the parties. Bane cannot be held liable for disputes, litigation, or damages resulting from the relationship between a parent and a nanny.

Article 5 — User Obligations

Users agree to:

• Use the platform fairly and in compliance with Gabon's applicable laws
• Not publish offensive, discriminatory, fraudulent, or misleading content
• Not impersonate a third party
• Report any suspicious behavior or violation of the Terms
• Not use the platform for unauthorized commercial purposes

Article 6 — Profile Verification

Bane provides a verification system for nanny profiles (verified badge). This verification certifies that certain information has been checked but does not constitute a guarantee regarding the quality of the services provided. Parents are encouraged to conduct their own additional checks.

Article 7 — Intellectual Property

All elements constituting the Bane platform (logo, design, texts, source code) are protected by intellectual property rights. Any unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or use is strictly prohibited.

Article 8 — Limitation of Liability

• Bane does not guarantee permanent availability of the platform.
• Bane is not liable for direct or indirect damages resulting from the use of the platform.
• Bane cannot be held responsible for the content published by users.

Article 9 — Modification of Terms

Bane reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Users will be notified of significant changes. Continued use of the platform after modification constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

Article 10 — Applicable Law

These Terms are governed by Gabonese law. Any dispute concerning the use of the platform shall be submitted to the competent courts of Libreville, Gabon.
